Border Security Force Recruitment details:

1. Name of post: Head Constable (Radio Operator)
Number of posts: 300

2. Name of post: Head Constable (Radio Mechanic)
Number of posts: 772

Pay Salary: Level – 4 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 25,500 — 81,100 (as per 7 CPC).

Education Qualification: 

(i) For HC (RO): Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board and two years Industrial Training Institute Cprtificate (ITI) in Radio and Television or, Electronics or, computer operator & Programming Assistant or, Data Preparation & Computer Software oil, General Electronics or, Data Entry Operator from a recognized Institute.
Or,
Pass in Intermediate or 12th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or University or Institution as a regular student with aggregate 60% marks in PCM subject.

(ii) For HC (RM): Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board and two years Industrial Training Institute Certificate (ITI) in Radio and Television or, General Electronics or, computer operator & Programming Assistant or, Data Preparation & Computer Software or, Electrician or, Fitter or, Info Technology & Electronics System maintenance or, Comn Equipment Maintenance or, Computer Hardware or, Network Technician or, Mechatronics or, Data Entry Operator from a recognized Institute.
Or,
Pass in Intermediate or 12″ standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or University or Institution as a regular student with aggregate 60% marks in PCM subject.

Age limitations: 

•   For General Candidates – 18 year to 25 years as on 12/06/2019.
•   For OBC Candidates – 18 year to 28 years as on 12/06/2019.
•   For SC and ST Candidates – 18 year to 30 years as on 12/06/2019.

Upper age relaxation for SC, ST & OBC serving BSF personnel and Central Government employees.

Examination Fee: General (UR) and OBC categories candidates have to pay 100 rupee’s as application/ Examination fee only through SBI online payment gateway by using following modes: –

•   Internet Banking (INB)
•   Credit/Debit cards
•   BHIM pay

SC, ST and Female candidates don’t need to pay application fee and serving personnel are exempted from paying the examination fee.
